| Description: Download sample rule scripts to understand how DFMPro can be customized to define your own rules using the new scripting interface. |
| Instructions: |
1. Download file “RuleScripts.DfmRule”.
2. Open DFMPro Rule Manager. You can do it through Start->Programs->DFMPro->DFMPro Rule Manager. Rule Manager can also be invoked by editing a rule file from DFMPro interface inside SolidWorks.
3. Invoke command Customize->Script Rules. This will provide a dialog to manage script rules.
4. Invoke command “Import” & provide the file “RuleScripts.DfmRule” that you just downloaded.
5. Now you have these rules imported in your DFMPro system. You need to check them if you want to include them in your rule file. |
